The highlights of a fine, calm and sunny day were a juvenile
Pomarine Skua flying over the island, 2
Little Auks and 3
Common Scoters offshore, and a mass arrival of 43
Tufted Ducks on Bridesness Loch. An arrival of
Whooper Swans in the late afternoon comprised 13 birds on Gretchen and Garso Lochs. The
Desert Wheatear remained on the west coast in the morning.
