A couple of new
Red-backed Shrikes, one of which was caught and ringed at Holland House, were the day's highlights, with only a sparse scattering of common migrants seen besides. These included a
Lesser Redpoll, 3 other
Redpolls, a
Lesser Whitethroat, a
Garden Warbler, a
Fieldfare, a
Swift, a
Common Sandpiper and a
Short-eared Owl. The
Little Gull was still present, and 3
Collared Doves and a
Woodpigeon were seen.
