There was no improvement in the number of passerines present, but another
Quail was discovered near the post office. Two drake
Garganeys were lurking on Hooking Loch, presumably having been hiding in the irises there for some days, and a second
Barnacle Goose had joined the previous day's bird. A male
Kestrel was newly arrived, a
Woodpigeon was still around and the flock of
Collared Doves in Holland gardens increased to 8. A
Common Sandpiper and 3
Bar-tailed Godwits were the most notable waders.
